New Jersey Archery Association

 
 

The New Jersey Archery Association the state organization sanctioned by USA Archery, the national governing body that oversees the selection and training of the Olympic archery team. The goal of NJAA is to support and promote the sport of archery for both recreation and competition. The current executive committee is: John Nyberg, president; John Malone, vice president; and Eileen Plypchuk, treasurer. New Jersey archers are also represented by 15 board members appointed by the executive committee. Archers interested in serving on the board are invited to contact John Nyberg at johnnyberg@optonline.net. The NJAA meets several times a year to discuss ways to better serve the state’s archery community. The next meeting will be Jan. 9, 2010, at Wo-Pe-Na Archery Club in Clifton.

Upcoming events


Our first event of the year is the New Jersey State Indoor JOAD Championship.  I will be held at WA-XO-Be January 10, 2010.  The application can be downloaded here:




On February 6 & 7 the New Jersey State Indoor Championships will be held at Wo-Pe-Na in Clifton.  The application for this event will be posted shortly.
